Home / Preventive Dentistry / A Check On Your Resolutions
New Year has passed us and it is good to evaluate how the time has passed since then. I am hoping that some of you managed to note some resolutions that were to make you a better person, more fruitful and more healthy.
I hope that you have Quit Smoking. If you have quit smoking your dental health would have improved vastly. Nicotine and its yellowing properties are not ideal for your healthy, clean white teeth and the smoke you inhale affects your breath to a staggering degree. Quitting smoking will not just improve your health but your dental health too.
I also hope that you are booked in to your 6-monthly dental check-up. If not, tartar deposits in mouth that are not cleaned and cracks in your teeth that aren’t tended to can create significant problems in the future. Treating yourself to a short stop with us early will stop you having a longer visit with us later.
Lastly, I hope that you managed to find a loved one to share a kiss with. That smile of yours is not just for smiling.
